She gave me the permission to use her chart for the lace and cable pattern.
Material :
- one skein of Frimas from Phildar
- 4 double-pointed needles 3mm (US 2 ½)
- a tapestry needle, a safety pin.
Gauge :
10 cm (4 inches) = 21 st in stock. st

Directions for the left glove :
Cast on 38 st, 44 st and close in the round being careful not to turn the st.
Divide the st this way : 12 st, 13 st on first needle, 12 st, 13 st on second needle, 14 st, 18 st on third needle.
Knit 6 rows in K1P1 ribs.
Continue in lace and cable pattern this way :
First row : - needle 1 : K1, K2, P5 (lace), K6 (cable), - needle 2 : P5 (lace), K6 (cable), P1, P2, - needle 3 : K14, K18 (inner hand).
Work 20 rows.
Begin to increase for the thumb : increase 1 st in the first and last st of the row, every 4 rows, 8 times. You have 54 st, 60 st.
Work 2 rows.
Keep the 16 st obtained for the thumb on a safety pin.
Work on the remaining 38 st, 44 st with lace and cable pattern. At the end of the row, CO 2 st between the inner hand part and the top part of the glove and knit in the round. You have 40 st, 46 st.
Knit 14 rows in cable and lace pattern, then 4 rows in K1P1 ribs, BO all the st.
Pick up back the 16 st leaved for the thumb. Knit in the round 6 rows in st st, then 3 rows in K1P1 ribs, BO all st.
Weave in ends.
Knit the right fingerless glove to match.
