Fournitures :
. 1 pelote de 50 g de laine Aquarelle de Pingouin ou toute autre laine vous permettant dobtenir l'échantillon
. Aig n° 6 droites ou une aiguille circulaire ou un jeu de 5 aiguilles doubles pointes au choix
. 1 bouton assorti à celui qui vous a servi à fermer votre écharpe Flora

Points employés :
- mousse, point de riz et jersey

- 10 cm : 16 m et 18 rgs

Explications :
Ce bonnet peut se tricoter sur 2 aiguilles droites et il suffira de faire une discrète couture à la fin, ou se tricoter en rond sur une aiguille circulaire ou un jeu de 5 aiguilles doubles pointes, dans ce cas il suffit de répartir les m sur vos aiguilles.

Monter 70 m et tricoter 4 rgs au point mousse
Tricoter 10 cm au point de riz puis à nouveau 4 rgs au point mousse
Faire 2 rgs en jersey

Débuter les diminutions du haut du bonnet en tricotant au point de jersey, tous les 2 rgs :
1° rg : 6 m end; (2 m ens, 12 m end) x 4; 2 m ens; 6 m end
3° rg : 5 m end; (3 m ens, 10 m end) x 4; 3 m ens; 5 m end
5° rg : 4 m end; (3 m ens, 8 m end) x 4; 3 m ens; 4 m end
7° rg : 3 m end; (3 m ens, 6 m end) x 4; 3 m ens; 3 m end
9° rg : 2 m end; (3 m ens, 4 m end) x 4; 3 m ens; 2 m end
11° rg : 1 m end; (3 m ens, 2 m end) x 4; 3 m ens; 1 m end
Il reste 15 m
Tricoter ensuite les m ensemble 2 par 2, passer le fil dans les 7 m restantes et serrer.

Finitions :
Faire la couture s'il y a lieu. Rentrer les fils

Pour obtenir un effet de toque et marquer le rebord en haut de la partie droite du bonnet, il suffit de faire sur l'envers du bonnet une couture en surjet joignant le premier des 4 derniers rgs mousse et le 2° rg de jersey tout autour du bonnet.
Coudre le bouton sur le bord du bonnet.

Materials :

- 1 skein of Aquarelle from Pingouin (50 % wool, 47 % acrylic, 3 % viscose) ( 50 g = 60 m = 66 yd) or any yarn that fits the gauge

- n° 10 US / 6 mm needles or one circular knitting needle or one set of 5 double-pointed needles as you like

- 1 button identical to the one you used for your Flora scarf

Stitches :

- garter stitch, seed stitch and stockinette stitch

Gauge :

- 4 inches : 16 sts and 18 rows

Size : one

Directions :

You may knit this hat with 2 single-pointed needles and you just have to make a small sewing at the end, or knit round with a circular knitting needle or a set of double-pointed needles and you just need to divide the sts on your needles.

Cast on 70 sts, and work 4 rows of garter stitch.

Then, work 10 cm of seed stitch and 4 more rows of garter stitch.

Work 2 rows of stockinette stitch.

Start to decrease for the upper part of the hat in stockinette st. Decrease every two rows as follow, pair rows are purled :

Row 1 : k6, (k2tog, k12) x 4, k2tog, k6.

Row 3 : k5, (k3tog, k10) x 4, k3tog, k5.

Row 5 : k4, (k3tog, k8) x 4, k3tog, k4.

Row 7 : k3, (k3tog, k6) x 4, k3tog, k3.

Row 9 : k2, (k3tog, k4) x 4, k3tog, k2.

Row 11: k1, (k3tog, k2) x 4, k3tog, k1.

15 sts remain. Knit the remaining st : k2tog, cut the yarn, thread it through the remaining sts and join into a ring.

Finishing :

Make a discrete sewing if necessary. Weave in ends.

To give an aspect of “toque” to your hat, simply sew on the wrong side of the hat, the base of the first row of the second sequence of garter stitch rows (at the top of the straight part of the hat) and the second row of stockinette stitch, all around the hat.

Sew the button on the hat.
